Join an International manufacturing building products Group, well established throughout Australia - with high profile brand products.    The company design, manufacture, sell and install a comprehensive range of innovative product / solutions for industrial, commercial and residential application -  is committed to R & D, and providing excellent technical support to internal and external customers.  

Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and sales direction to the QLD business in order to achieve the company’s strategic and financial objectives. This will include:  the development and execution of a sales and marketing plan, leading, coaching, mentoring,  training and developing the QLD sales team (external and internal) to ensure maximum  performance in the field, further developing and implementing systems and measures in the business to effect a more disciplined and measured sales process, regular appraisal of the team and business as it relates to the goals and objectives, and promoting the company’s presence throughout Queensland by taking a “hands on” approach in the field with your key customers and team.

With a proven track record in Sales Management, you will have successfully managed a medium sized sales team within a highly competitive environment (ie  at least $20 - 30M+).  Whilst tertiary qualifications would be well regarded, they are not essential.  However,  you must be able to demonstrate:  the ability to provide strong strategic and tactical planning within a business, financial and business acumen, exceptional organizational and project management skills, highly developed business development skills – able to develop and maintain long term customer loyalty through win/win accepted value propositions, the development and execution of more formal and disciplined sales systems, processes and measures, be results focused, resilient and foster a “proactive” “can do” positive culture.    Salary commensurate with experience.
